Response to Peer feedback

Peer feedback is still somewhat subjective.  The Quality Assurance ensures that all feedback is somewhat streamlined by listing the necessities that must be included in the course.  That being said, there are areas which can be subjective. Now that my module has been piloted, I have received multiple feedback surveys and they are quite different. It is interesting to compare the likes and dislikes.
There are aspects of the reviews with which I agree and others where I do not. A reviewer stated that my module should have included a checklist at the end to ensure that nothing was missed.  I agree that should have been included.  Ironically, the person who made the suggestion missed an assessment piece of the module which influenced her review.  She had stated that my assessment was solely in a discussion forum, however, that was not the case.  I had included an assessment which required a flipgrid video summation which she did not complete as she did not notice it. Had I included a checklist, that could have been avoided.
There were opposing views on the navigation of the module.  One felt it was easy to navigate and included necessary elements where another felt important elements were missing.  I disagree with that statement as I feel I included everything that should have been included, with the exception of the checklist and perhaps links to resources on the homepage.  That would have increased accessibility.
One of my reviews was exceptionally critical and while some points are valid, overall I don't agree and would challenge that review.  It was stated that my lessons were not sequenced in a logical order, course was not easy to follow, and my module was not easy to navigate.  I feel these three points are not justified.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I guess this is why there are multiple reviewers, however, this was the only review which made those observations and I stand by the module I created.  While it was not perfect and there is definitely room for improvement, those are not the areas I would address.  Again, important links on the homepage would be useful as would a summary checklist at the end of the module.
This was an incredible learning experience from start to finish.  It was difficult and extremely time consuming, but well worth it. I have learned a tremendous amount. I am extremely grateful that I had this opportunity.

Reflections on the Model Delivery

The module I created is completely asynchronous.  I do my best work in the morning so I was online bright and early to see if anyone had begun.  Truthfully I am very proud of the module I created although there is always room for improvements regardless.  I was very nervous as to how the module would be received. I wanted my peers to enjoy what I created and not find it tedious or a chore to complete.
I found myself quite anxious on my delivery day and I kept checking in to see if anyone had questions or thoughts to share, as I really wanted to form a community of inquiry and I really hoped my Twitter hashtag would be a place to share information and form a community of learners. I also hoped the discussion forums would engage students and prompt meaningful discussions.
Delivery day consisted of a lot of waiting for something to happen.  This obviously would not have been the case had I done a synchronous model but I felt that my module would be best completed in an asynchronous manner. I found it very frustrating to not have control of the group as they could complete the module at their leisure as long as it was completed that day yet I wanted them to complete it early in the day so I could begin engaging.  I did not enjoy the feeling of not being able to control that situation.
I was initially disappointed that my group did not wish to make a video of 5 important facts to get acquainted and chose the option for just listing them.  I made a video and hoped they'd follow suit however that did not happen.  I was hoping the video aspect would increase social presence.
Overall, I am quite pleased with the process.
